Just had a very strange phone call with them. Told them I wanted to bring my car in just to diagnose it (currently doesn’t start) and was told it would be up to $300, which I was prepared for. We got it all scheduled for the next day, but then I was trying to tell the man on the phone that if the diagnosis comes back as something I can do, I’d rather do it myself, as money is tight right now. Then he very uncomfortably said some strange vague things about how they just “want to take care of my car” and how “someone else can help you maybe” and then rushed me off the phone and said “ok have a good day bye” and hung up without allowing me to speak further. Struck me as extremely shady, and makes me wonder why they wouldn’t be willing to take money for a diagnosis if it simply means they won’t be the ones fixing it…
